About
Useful work, explained plainly.
Plainspoken Design builds custom websites, and consults on and implements automations that help companies save money.
What we do
We do two kinds of work. The first is websites: we design and build a site around your business, shape the content with you, host it, and keep it current. The second is automation: we look at how work moves through your company, find the repeat steps that cost time and money, and connect your tools so those steps run on their own.
The two often meet. A website form is usually where a request starts, and an automation is what carries it to the inbox, the CRM, the invoice and the report without anyone copying it by hand.
How we work with clients
We start by listening. Before we suggest anything, we want to understand your business, your customers, and the work that slows you down.
We agree the scope and a fixed quote before work begins. We show the work as it takes shape, and we ask before we change direction. When a project is done, you get the documentation and training to run it, and we stay available for changes.
What you can expect
- Plain language
No jargon, and no surprises in the scope or the bill.
- You own what we build
Your website, content and automations belong to you, and they come with documentation.
- Facts you confirm
We publish only details you have approved, and we review changes with you before they go live.
- Measured results
For automations, we record the time and cost of a process before and after, so you can see the change.
